This event is open to anyone with an interest in diversity and intended to be of use both to public and private sector service providers and employers. It considers how an awareness of  social, cultural, religious or linguistic differences can influence expectations and communication between parties, thereby adding value to ensure the provision meets everyone's needs.

*When this session takes place will depend on the availability of the person. We aim to provide this as soon as possible after the main workshop but there could be a short delay. This aspect is not a strict requirement for CPD points to be awarded, however, but would be of interest.  Dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Julies-Ann's training is excellent. This is the 2nd course I have attended and the information was so relevant both professionally and personally. In this course, I was really interested particularly to the concept of Epigenetics and will be doing some further research on this. I think that this is a brilliant way of approaching the issue of diversity and really made me think about things in new ways.

The trainer was informative, approachable and engaging throughout. The training was interestingly from the perspective of language which presented new frames of reference.

It was beneficial to discuss the variety of communication issues that arise across the board . I found the Trompenaars and Hamdden-Turner’s model beneficial

I found the subjects discussed extremely interesting and Julie Anne is clearly knowledgeable in this area. I feel I can bring some of this new Knowledge to my team. This session has given me a lot to reflect on in terms of how professionals work with and support BAME families . I now feel more confident to discuss these subjects with other professionals.

Julie Anne created a safe space, which allowed me to feel free to share my thoughts and opinions without feeling judged, I found the session really engaging and has left me wanting to learn more. (which is always a good sign). Really glad a attended the training, would certainly recommend to others. Thank you Julie Anne
