Another enjoyable session and I've met some more great and committed people. I'm really grateful to everyone who attended this first event of 2018 despite the wild North Wales coast weather recently!

Please do leave some feedback in the comments as this will help others considering booking a place on future sessions to decide if it is right for them.

Really enjoyed the session today, however I would have benefited from hearing what in particular can help to support individuals who are affected by the disorder. By this I mean day to day coping strategies as well as the particular types of therapy for PTSD/trauma which may or may not be from childhood sexual abuse.

Many thanks

I

Hi, Hayley. Thanks for your feedback. And thanks for coming along today. Methods to use to assist or ground dissociative individuals is an aspect I am considering compiling to produce a new session. In fact, I wanted to ask the group's thoughts on this today following the discussion, or other related topics they might find useful for a future presentation! Nonetheless, I completely forgot by the end of the session. That said, I may email attendees to ask their thoughts on this. Thanks again.

Really enjoyed today, a big thank you to Julie Anne for sharing her open, honest and heartfelt journey through her personal experiences. Alot of food for thought and will definitely be recommending for others to attend any future workshops and doing more personal research into ptsd myself to help the young people I care for.

A very informative presentation. I learnt so much and it was very touching to hear it from a first-hand experience. I think what I have learnt will be so useful to my personal and professional life. I just hope that other services start recognising this 'disorder' and assist people in this journey to come through the other side.

I was not bothered by the lack of agenda, actually I was glad, because the delivery was so succinct and clear that any prior expectation, other than what was provided, would have been a distraction. In the short time I felt the content gave a very personal, and emotionally balanced, overview, of the sensitive and complex ramifications of abusive aggressors.
I am so glad you were able to deliver this important understanding so professionally. Thanks from my heart.

Thank you for your kind words, Julia. It was good to meet you. And thanks for the feedback about the agenda. I fear a couple of attendees may not have received the link to the website and therefore full information of what to expect which is on there which is why I thought perhaps sending an agenda and overview as a file to be forwarded or printed off may be useful when I email organisations.
