Really interesting and informative presentation. It was well thought out with a good amount of anecdotal evidence to help the listener to understand from a survivors point of view. It was thought provoking and definitely something I can incorporate into my practice. Great value for money and I would thoroughly recommend going.
Julie Anne is able to present The difficulties faced by survivors in such a way that helps practioners better understand the often life-long impact of trauma on an individual. Her work in this field is vitally important and desperately needed if practitioners are to effectively help break the cycle of further and repeated trauma for survivors.
In my experience, survivors make perfect sense when viewed through the right lens and much progress and recovery can be achieved with the application of trauma-informed help. I applaud the work Julie Anne is doing and would urge practitioners to attend to deepen their knowledge.
Thank you very much, Karen.
Thank you so much, Heather. I'm delighted you feel so positive about the session and that it will be helpful to you in future. Best wishes, Julie Anne.
Thank you for a very informative few hours, it was really useful to hear from your own personal perspective and the other survivor who also contributed at the end.
I do hope that the work you do is spread to health and social care professionals as there is obviously such little knowledge of identifying dissociation disorder and PTSD.
The effects of trauma is so often misunderstood and you really helped me both on a professional and personal level.
I look forward to attending further sessions as you develop them.
thanks you once again.
You are welcome, Becky. Thank you for taking time out to attend the session.
Julie Ann presented difficulties and impacts of trauma and gave me a better understanding of what issues people who have had trauma face throughout their lives and at different stages.
Most importantly she gave inspiration, you can survive and get through it with the right support at the right time!
Thank you very much, Jane, for your positive words.
