Once again I have to start by saying thank you to everyone who came along and took part in today's session, and for both the the feedback and input received.

As I mentioned today, all feedback is helpful so please leave a comment below, and if you're comfortable to do so, mention your job title as this may help others in other areas decide whether or not to attend.

Good session and good to have perspective from a survivor. I think time of session is spot on as heavy going subject. From a workers point of view it was good to see that people with the right support and timing can move forward on in their lives. Thoroughly good session.

Two hours well spent getting to know the fundamentals of dissociation and a survivors perspective on this. Would definitely recommend.

It was really illuminating to get a perspective on Dissociation from a survivor - it was far more pertinent to listen for two hours than pour over textbooks for a similar amount of time. It helped me to understand the range of behaviours exhibited by a person going through dissociation after trauma, how very long term the effects could be but also how a fulfilled life is completely possible with the right counselling. Not just an informative session but a truly helpful one.
