Firstly, many thanks to everyone for braving the cold to turn out to this evening's event despite the sub-zero temperature (literally) and unpredictable weather. Also to those who shared their personal and professional experiences.
Some comments received on the feedback forms will appear later this week on the Previous Events page so do check back. In the meantime, please leave your own comments below. Thank you.

I had a really insightful look into this topic tonight from a lady who has expirienced this first hand and that is very refreshing! Personal and professional and I'm sure it helps other survivors of childhood trauma to hear that they are not alone and identify with someone real. I've expirienced post traumatic stress disorder after a huge trauma and hearing some of the symptoms you spoke of tonight i can identify with. Thank you for sharing your story, all the best with your future.

I extremely found the night most interesting. Myself and my daughter both suffer from trauma and have various diagnoses between us. I now have a better understanding to help myself and my daughter and also to others who I come across in various groups which I attend. Julie the mental health speaker was an amazing lady and I learned a lot from her and could relate to what she said. Thanks for a brilliant evening
